
A strange reef has been found at the bottom of the ocean, populated by a life form never seen before. Scientists have arrived on the front lines to study the behavior of these strange animals, now called “parasites.” The goal was to understand how they function and to experiment with them to potentially use them to ensure the survival, or even the evolution, of the human species.
